Due to our plugins being written for Intel based Apple Computers, there will be an extra step to load plug-ins on your Apple M1/M2 Computer. The example seen below is using Photoshop, but these steps apply to any Adobe application on an Apple computer using an M-Series chip.
- Locate your installed Adobe application (Default location: Macintosh HD/Applications/Adobe Photoshop 202X/Adobe Photoshop 202X)
- Right click on the Adobe application file (You'll want to make sure you aren't clicking on the Adobe folder instead of the Application) and select Get Info
- Enable 'Open using Rosetta'
- Open your Adobe application and click on the name of the application in the upper left corner seen as Photoshop in this example
- Hover over preferences
- Select Plugins
- Enable both options under Legacy Extensions Once you have completed these steps, quit out of your Adobe application and launch a test through GMetrix. Once you have completed these steps, quit out of your Adobe application and launch a test through GMetrix.
