GMetrix partners with bulb, simplifying access for students and administrators.

With the purchase of student bulb accounts, educators can get access to bulb for free. Students with bulb accounts can easily access their portfolio from in the Student Portal sidebar.


Pricing

Access to the bulb can be purcahsed through GMetrix. Each student bulb account costs $4.50/month. Educators get free access with the purchase of student access.

For teachers

Educator may be eligible for a free bulb account if they purchased student access through GMetrix. In addition, GMetrix administrators can manage access for students and view their bulb portfolios.


If you’re a GMetrix administrator, you can use your administrator account to assign bulb access to students. You can also view student portfolios and create your own account for free.


Adding bulb access for students

Once purchased, you can assign bulb access to students:

  1. Sign in to the GMetrix Administrator Portal at gmetrix.net/manage.
  2. In the sidebar, choose Classrooms.
  3. Click or tap the Details button next to the Classroom you want to manage.
  4. In the Content tab, check Enable bulb Portfolio.


Viewing your students’ bulb portfolios

In bulb, students are connected to educators through groups. You can view all work shared by students within your groups, including work from previous years:

  1. Go to the group with the student portfolio you want to view.
  2. In the Memberstab, select the student to view their portfolio and their shared work.
    • Work that hasn’t been shared will not be shown.


Accessing your free bulb account

As an educator, you get free access to bulb when student access is purchased through GMetrix:

  1. Sign in to the GMetrix Administrator Portal at gmetrix.net/manage.
  2. In the sidebar, choose bulb Portfolio. You will be redirected to your bulb account.
