Windows 11 has enabled a feature called controlled folder access by default. If you are running into issues of starting a test through GMetrixSMS try going through these steps.

  1. Open Windows Security
  2. Click on Virus & threat protection and then Manage ransomware protection
  3. Click on Allow an app through controlled folder access
  4. Click on Add an allowed app
  5. Navigate to GMetrixSMS.exe and click Select
