Student Portal Overview : Technical Support

The Student Portal recently got a makeover. We’ve given it a fresh coat of paint, squashed some bugs, and reorganized the layout for simpler navigation.

What's Changed?

When you first log in to the new Student Portal, you might notice some big changes to the user interface. Don't worry, everything is still here, we've just made it a little easier to navigate and understand.

Here's What's New:

Redesigned User Interface (UI): Best practices and design trends for online content are always changing. We've made both visual and practical changes to our UI layout; such as removing the tab bar in the upper portion of the display.
Terminology: We've changed a few terms for clarification. Tests are now called Practice Exams and products have been replaced by Programs.
Sidebar Menu: To simplify navigation, the tab-bar menu has been merged with the sidebar.
Views: Pages accessed within the new Portal's dashboard are called views. Views include Home, Profile, and Transcript.
Home View: The new Student Portal also replaced the dashboard with views. The all-new Home view is the firs view you see when you log in to the Portal.
Programs: Learning content is now grouped into comprehensive learning packages called Programs. They are displayed as tiles in the Home view.
Program Page: Clicking on a Program tile will bring you to its Program page. Learning modules that used to be in the sidebar (e.g., Courses, Books, Study Guides) can be found here.
Transcript View: You can view your Course activity and progress in the Transcript view.
Profile View: "My Account" has been replaced with the Profile view. Here you can manage your personal details and account settings.
